The process of Hypnotherapy feels like a light trance. It is similar to the feeling you get when daydreaming or when lost in a film or a book. You are in control at all times, but in a heightened state of awareness, so that the therapist can work with the unconscious mind to bring about lasting effective changes that improve your quality of life.
What happens in a hypnotherapy session with TalkingPoint Therapy?
We believe that the combination of Psychotherapy with Hypnotherapy, is a powerful way to change unwanted behaviours and ways of thinking. Jackie treats every client as unique and believes that there is no “one approach fits all”. Each of her sessions are tailored completely to you, so that the most effective change takes place in the shortest time possible.
Each session lasts 55 minutes and will combine a period of discussion about your issues and a Hypnotherapy session of about 25 minutes.
